Global Measurement Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2004 by 3 entrepreneurs with the goal to be the number one process monitoring technology in the semiconductor and process industries. The company focuses its efforts on wet chemical process monitors.
In March of 2004, Global Measurement Technologies acquired the SemiChem, AnaChem and IonChem product lines from ATMI, Inc. The success of the product lines are due to innovation and execution of analysis techniques that ensure precise, reliable, and accurate analysis results. The field proven products are used extensively in the semiconductor fabrication facility and industrial facilties in processes in which chemical concentration is critical.
The SemiChem product line was developed from the highly reliable AnaChem chassis, yet optimized for the semiconductor environment. The SemiChem utilizes ultra-pure wetted materials, clean room compliant construction, and industrial safety certifications. The SemiChem design allows for easy integration into OEM process tools with minimal facility requirements. The use of the SemiChem and on-line process monitoring make it possible for real time process analysis, higher tool throughput, detection of process variations before loss of product quality, and optimized chemical consumption. Each offers the opportunity for optimized process control parameters and enhanced yields.
The AnaChem has enjoyed many years of success with a large number of installations throughout the world. They have been allowing industries from beverage, pulp and paper, chemical, textiles, and automotive, to optimize their chemical processes through highly reliable, robust, accurate and precise process analysis. The AnaChem design allows it to survive in the most harsh environments while maintaining the highest level of performance, in fact most AnaChems has proven to exceed their 9 year life expectancy.
The IonChem is a direct descendant of the AnaChem but rather is optimized towards wastewater treatment in both industrial and municipal applications. The IonChem uses the same field proven hardware, but the analysis methods are standard methods and procedures. The IonChem incorporates ion-selective electrodes and uses standard addition to eliminate errors due to electrode drift and offset.
The SemiChem, AnaChem and IonChem have been applied to nearly all wet-chemical applications worldwide.
